THERM-A-REST ToughSkin Mattress Pad (Small)
A puncture resistant sleeping pad that still affords a soft surface that`s warm to sleep on, whithout being too heavy. If the pad somehow gets punctured, it still affords a R-value of 3.2, same as ProLite 4. The pad is light enough for thru-hiking upto expeditions. It`s a quality pad that any dedicated hiker who does rough terrain exploring should have. The ideal use would be in thorny environments, desert and winter camping and expeditions. But, it also works great in most any other camping setting.

What are `R-values?
R-values are a measure of insulation and are based on a mattress being fully inflated. The higher the value, the warmer you will sleep. For a higher R-value, fully inflate your mattress
