How Does It Work?
1) The fabric is highly breathable and does not restrict the movement of moisture vapor.
2) `Touch points` on the fabric inner surface draw off the sweat. Sweat is wicked off the skin to the outside of the fabric where it spreads rapidly for evaporation. The summit fabric moves at least 25% more moisture away from the skin than single component fabrics.
3) When the sweat reaches the outside of the fabric, it spreads out to many times its original surface area, enabling it to dry at least 2 times faster than cotton.

ULTRA ILLUSCENT MAX
Ultra Illuscent max is an antimicrobial product that controls odor causing bacteria, bacteria, mold, mildew and fungus. Chitin is derived from the shells of crabs and contains unique antimicrobial properties. We produce a product from natural resources that are abundantly renewable. The antimicrobial characteristics of chitin have been known for some time. A main stumbling block to commercial viability has been the lack of durability at a reasonable cost. Ultra Illuscent Max has overcome the durability vs. cost issue.

APPLICATION
• Ultra Illuscent Max is most commonly applied in the pad bath
• Easily mixes with water and is compatible with most other finishes (wicking, fluorocarbon, etc.)
• Is cationic and usually has a pH of around 4
• Grafts onto textile surfaces in multiple layers
• Heat of over 80 1/4 C bonds the layers of molecular chains together, creating lasting results
• Ultra Illuscent Max is applied in dosages ranging from 0.5 to 3.0% on weight of fabric
• Dosage varies based on which organisms need to be controlled and also which fabrics are selected
• Generally, cotton requires the lowest dosages and nylon the highest. Polycotton fabrics and 100% polyester are somewhere in the middle
• Other application options are foam (usually carpet) and spray
• As a result of its extremely low toxicity potential, Ultra Illuscent Max is now being foamed onto the face of broadloom in the United States as a mold and mildew inhibitor
