These pants are the epitome of durability mixed with waterproof and yet breathable protection. The Freedom Insulated Pant from TNF is made with HyVent 2L durafaille with a taffeta lining and Heatseeker insulation, which are the cutting edge in fabrics for keeping warmth in and the wet and cold out. This pant is fully seam sealed and sports a Chimney vent system and exterior thigh vents in case he gets a little too warm. All joints are reinforced and sport gussets for extra durable construction. When it comes to snow, there`s no other pant your boy should be in.

HeatSeeker is The North Face`s synthetic insulation that offers a great heat to weight ratio and is highly compactable and durable as well as retaining it`s insulative properties when wet.
Chimney Venting System
The Chimney Venting System improves airflow through the pant, reducing heat stress and humidity while increasing breathability. This new engineering improves the range of comfort and enhances athletic performance. The Chimney Venting System uses strategic placement of stretch mesh for the top of each leg gaiter. Acting as an air intake or exhaust, this Flex-Vent compliments the venting to create continuous airflow and proper heat management throughout the pant. The Flex-Vent doubles as an energy absorber to allow your gaiter to stay in place while your legs are working hard in the backcountry, bumps or pipe.
