The XTC Midweight Tight from The North Face is a great layering or stand alone performance pant. The tight fit and stretchability of the unique XTC fabric provides a superb comfort during any type of physical activity. The wicking properties of the fabric allow you to keep cool while doing the most vigorous of runs or climbs. Providing options such as UPF sun protection and quick drying, these tights are performance designed and tested.

XTC, Bamboo Charcoal Technology -
XTC, a new baselayer from The North Face, utilizes innovative Bamboo Charcoal technology, a process by which the bamboo plant is carbonized at very high temperatures and infused into yarns to enhance performance qualities. The end result of this process is a high-performance product that wicks moisture 50% more rapidly than polyesters, inhibits odors naturally, and blocks harmful UV rays with a UPF 50+ rating, all in a highly compressible, comfortable base layer.

Developed for multisport athletes, the Flight Series features ultralight, multi-purpose apparel, equipment, and footwear. This athlete-tested performance collection is designed for done-in-a-day and weekend adventures when fast and light packing is paramount.
UPF PROTECTION -
UV Radiation is a non-visable epart of sunlight associeated with suntans, sunburns, premature aging, and skin cancer. Sun protection properties of a woven or knit fabric are dependent upon transmission, absorption and refection of UV radiation. The fiber type, dye, constuction and finishes determine these characteristics. The North Faces UPF rated garments offer very good UV protection from prolonged exposure to the sun.
VAPORWICK
An advanced finish applied to fabric that aids in transporting moisture away from the body, during aerobic activities, and distributing it on the fabric surface increasing the speed at which the moisture will evaporate keeping you dry and comfortable.
