K2 6 Karat Ski Pole

The 6 Karat is the flagship of the T:9 series poles. An Alliance-tested, smaller women`s grip is wrapped in saddle leather, accented with chrome and topped off with a gem. Built with Exo 12 Technology, the 6 Karat is extremely lightweight and durable for the aggressive, all-mountain skier.

EXO Technology
Developed exclusively by K2. Exo Technology is the controlled process of mechanically stringing carbon fiber strands along the length of the pole shaft. Adding carbon fiberr in separate layers, rather than in a fiberglass mix, allows for a higher ratio of carbon fiber to glass, translating into the best strength-to-weight balance possible.

EXO 12 Technology
Highest level of K2 Exo Technology available. 12 strings of carbon fiber mechanically applied to length of pole shaft. Provides lightweight benefits of carbon fiber with the durability previously found only in aluminum poles.

Powder Basket
Larger surface area of the Powder Basket allows it to effectively float higher stop deeper snow.

Hard Snow Basket
Smaller more aeordynamic basket. A lightweight option that is great in any condition.
