- Omni-Grip: Trail
XTS: Cross-Terrain Suspension
XTS: Cross-Terrain Suspension is Columbia new footwear technology using an injected, molded TPU plate sandwiched between the midsole and outsole. Provides forefoot protection from sharp objects such as rocks or explosed roots on the trail. Torsional rigidity to control the foot strike while moving over unexpected uneven surfaces. Stability in heel area for full-foot support when traveling fast and furious over rough terrain.
EVA
The acronym for Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate. EVA is used in many footbeds, midsoles and outsoles. EVA provides lightweight, flexible, cushioning that is highly impact resistant. EVA also acts as an insulation barrier in cold weather products.
Omni-Grip: Trail
Non-Marking. Medium-soft compound - excellent combination of traction, stickiness and durability for maintained trails and varied terrain. Perfect for multi-purpose outdoor footwear.
Gusseted Tongue
A design feature where the tongue is attached to the bottom and both sides of the eyestay. This prevents debris from entering the shoe and keeping the tongue secured in place.
