Using Thinsulate, a lightweight, thermally efficient synthetic insulation, along with a waterproof membrane, your feet will stay dry and warm during your winter time adventures. Salomon uses Winter Contragrip, which used combinations of compounds to give you the right grip for almost every winter condition. This boot is made to function well while still looking good.

THINSULATE
Thinsulate is the original `Warm without bulk` for footwear. Developed specifically for footwear. Exceptionally thin, lightweight and durable. Warmer than foam, felt, and pile. Microfibers trap and hold body heat.

WINTER CONTRAGRIP
A perfect combination of the right compounds, the cutting edge geometry and the appropriate density to provide the best winter grip. Combining several different hardness combinations of Contragrip and specifically formulated rubber that is non hardening in cold conditions, Salomon`s winter Contragrip provides excellent grip and druability in the most extreme winter conditions.
