This material resists abrasion and is crystal-clear for razor-sharp graphics and specialty inks.
Stitched / Weaved Fiber Glass
Stitched, Quadraxial Fiberglass - 4 layers of premium fiberglass at 0, 90, 30 and -30 degrees offer up a consistent, snappy feel. Embedded and weaved through the glass are 6 stringers of carbon and 6 stringers of kevlar to increase memory retention and help with stability and vibrations at high speeds. (Platinum Series only). Weaved, Triaxial Fiberglass - Our Tri-Directional Wet Wrap Glass features A + and -45 degree biax layup creating a torsion box effect. This directs the rider`s energy out to the wide points, increasing torsional responsiveness and edge hold.
20mm Vertically Laminated Wood Core
Our full length, profiled, pre-curved wood cores use 20mm vertical laminates and are super lightweight, strong and responsive.
ABS Sidewall
ABS sidewall provide greater edge hold and impact resistance then a traditional cap construction.
Rubber Dampening Foil
the elastomer foil isolates the steel edge from the effects of the shear and dampens vibrations.
360 Degree 48 Rockwell Steel Edge
Our edges are pre-bent at room temperature for a consistant 48 rockwell hardness rating.
