GORE-TEX Membrane
The secret of GORE-TEX outerwear - which is both completely waterproof and breathable at the same time - lies within its revolutionary bi-component membrane. The membrane contains over 9 billion microscopic pores which are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times bigger than a molecule of moisture vapor. So while water in its liquid form cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX membrane, moisture vapor can easily escape.
PrimaLoft Insulation
PrimaLoft is a patented ultra fine microfiber blend that is incredibly soft, lightweight and water repellent. PrimaLoft synthetic insulation absorbs three times less water, is 15% warmer when dry, and is 24% warmer when wet than the closest competitive insulation.
MacroCap System
Grandoe`s patented MacroCap system provides extra warmth with insulation where your hands need it most, at your fingertips. Each finger is individually capped with Grandoe`s exclusive HRC - Heat Retention Core Layer - that provides 21% greater warmth, keeping fingertips toasty warm in all conditions.
