WindWall
A proprietary wind-resistant fleece from The North Face. Through a fabric bonding process, WindWall allows a limited degree of air permeability resulting in increased breathability and comfort.
How Windproofness is Measured
The most common method to measure windproofness is called the Fraser Air Permeability Test. This test measures the number of cubic feet of air that can pass thru a square foot of fabric in one minute at a pressure differential equal to 30 miles per hour wind speed. The results are given in CFM Ð cubic feet per minute.
