The High-Waistline Cut
Most PFDs come all the way down to the waistline. But Stohlquist PFDs are cut higher in the waist for three reasons. First, it is much more comfortable to sit for long periods in a higher cut PFD, because the bottom does not get sandwiched against your legs and try to ride up. Second, it does not push down on the sprayskirt which reduces the collection of water on your skirt or in your lap. Finally, the shorter cut gives much greater flexibility at the waist.
The Cinch
This innovative feature activates Stohlquist unique fit, keeps the vest down and in place, and eliminates ride-up. This high/diagonal, front-to-back adjustment results in more mobility and a streamlined fit without being tight. As a result the `Cinch` prevents and eliminates chafing on your chin and underarms caused by ride-up.
