Boa CBR Reel
When combined with the K2 Access System, the CBR reel is securely attached to the boot while tightening the internal harness around your foot. On the kids Vandal and Kat, the CBR provides a quick shell lacing system, making it easy for kids to securely tighten their own boot.
ACCESS SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY
The K2 Access System allows you to precisely control liner`s ankle support and heel hold on-the-fly from the outside of the boot while your shell is fully laced. You can also loosen your liner for lunch or on the lift and crank it back down when you are ready to ride without having to unlace your shell. The first time you try this, you will wonder how you ever rode without it.
HOW IT WORKS: The K2 Access Harness is securely stitched to the shell of the boot and tightens around the liner to lock your foot in position. Focus is on the mid-section of the foot to provide superior ankle support and heel hold. The tension is adjusted using the BOA CBR reel. The CBR Reel anchors the shell and liner together for perfect alignment and the knob stays securely locked in place while riding.
The harness lace is threaded through the tongue `lace guide`, allowing the liner to be inserted and removed from the boot without the `spaghetti-mess` of traditional harness laces. This also allows the boot to be opened with a quick pop of the knob and pull of the tongue.
