EXO Technology
Developed exclusively by K2, Exo Technology is the controlled process of mechanically stringing carbon fiber strands around the outermost circumference of the pole shaft. Adding carbon fiber in separate layers, rather than in a fiberglass mix, allows for a higher ratio of carbon fiber to glass, translating into the best strength to weight balance possible.
Carbon Fiber
Synthetic fiber with extremely strong, lightweight characteristics. Up to 2.5 times the strength of aluminum at half the weight.
Soft Snow Baskets
Larger surface area of the Powder Basket allows it to effectively float higher atop deeper snow.
Hard Snow Basket
Smaller, more aerodynamic basket. Lightweight option that is great in any condition.
