We realize some of our processes may jeopardize the very climate we love and are moving to protect it through our own actions - with every passing season Smith Evolve grows more necessary.

Every Smith Evolve goggle frame is created from reground materials, utilizing other companies` waste. Packaging has been minimized and made from recycled post-consumer product and uses vegetable based inks.
Ignitor Mirror Lens Tint:
Proprietary new universal lens tint designed to reduce eye fatigue while enhancing contrast and depth perception in all conditions. A versatile lens tint designed to be used all season long. 35% VLT.

UV Protection from the Sun
Linked to eye diseases, cataracts, and temporary conditions such as `snowblindness,` Ultraviolet Radiation (UVA/B/C) is magnified by snow-covered surfaces. All Smith lens tints protect your eyes from 100% of these harmful forms of solar radiation.
Visible Light Transmission (VLT)
The percentage of available light allowed to reach the eye. Different tints offer specific VLT to enhance vision in various light conditions.
TLT Optics (Tapered Lens Technology)
`Objects in lens are same as they appear`
When light passes through a medium it refracts i.e. changes course. This refraction can cause visual distortin and eye fatigue. Smith`s Tapered Lens Technology straightens out the incoming light rays by progressivly tapering the lens from the optical center toward the peripheral view. You see with 100% accuracy and maximum comfort.
Hydrophobic Lens Coating
A durable hydrophobic coating bonded to all mirrored lenses reduces smudging and increases scratch resistance.
Regulator Ventilation
Patented adjustable ventilation system with sliding bar to control airflow. Performance feature for deep powder, extreme cold, high speeds, and contact lenses.
Carbonic-X Lens

Fog-X Treatment
A hydrophilic chemical treatment creates a micro-etched surface on the inner lens to absorb moisture before fog can form. Because Fog-X is a treatment that is actually burned into the lens it can`t be wiped away like other anti-fog coatings.
Split V Nose
A Smith innovation that provides a self-adjusting fit around the nose. Available on all models
Breathable Foam Membrane
Structural ventilation system moves air freely through lens chamber, while filtering out moisture and snow particles.
Sealed `Dead Air` Space
Doube lens creates an insulation barrier between cold air outside the goggle and the warm air inside to prevent lens fog formation.
