Ignitor Mirror Lens Tint:
Proprietary new universal lens tint designed to reduce eye fatigue while enhancing contrast and depth perception in all conditions. A versatile lens tint designed to be used all season long. 35% VLT.

UV Protection from the Sun
Linked to eye diseases, cataracts, and temporary conditions such as `snowblindness,` Ultraviolet Radiation (UVA/B/C) is magnified by snow-covered surfaces. All Smith lens tints protect your eyes from 100% of these harmful forms of solar radiation.
Visible Light Transmission (VLT)
The percentage of available light allowed to reach the eye. Different tints offer specific VLT to enhance vision in various light conditions.
TLT Optics (Tapered Lens Technology)

When light passes through a medium it refracts i.e. changes course. This refraction can cause visual distortin and eye fatigue. Smith`s Tapered Lens Technology straightens out the incoming light rays by progressivly tapering the lens from the optical center toward the peripheral view. A durable hydrophobic coating bonded to all mirrored lenses reduces smudging and increases scratch resistance.
Regulator Ventilation

A hydrophilic chemical treatment creates a micro-etched surface on the inner lens to absorb moisture before fog can form. Because Fog-X is a treatment that is actually burned into the lens it can`t be wiped away like other anti-fog coatings.
