The T:Nine Myste is similar the the 5500, but built with the forward mounted, softer flexing design of the T:Nines series. As probably the most versatile ski in the T:Ninie series, the Myste is the perfect tool for the intermediate skier who seeks rapid improvement.

The K2 Alliance reflects a fresh, new approach to developing the world`s most effective women-specific ski equipment. K2 chose a team of women to represent a wide spectrum of experience, passion and understanding of the unique needs of women in skiing. These women serve as the backbone of product development, challenging K2 on all assumptions about what women want and need. In an industry first, K2 armed these women with unprecedented control, empowering them to direct K2 engineers and product managers in every aspect of ski development, product design, performance, graphic design and marketing.
The K2 Alliance represents a diverse range of the women`s market: from a ski mom, to a young career professional, to a world-extreme ski champion. The five women of the K2 Alliance have spent more than 2 years building a series of skis for each ability level, integrating design and development ideas from extensive on-snow testing into the process. Taking its name from the historic legislation that instituted equality for women in sports, Title IX, the T: Nine Series is the first complete collection of women-specific skis designed by five women for all women.

RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT
K2`s Research and Development test team skis in excess of 2 million vertical feet per year on just ski testing. At K2, their engineering, sales, marketing, and athletes all build skis for the common good of mankind. They have spirited discussions about sidecuts, lengths, construction and technology. They debate how to formulate the perfect collection and discuss theories, all in a quest to find the perfect ski.
TRIAXIAL BRAIDING
Triaxial Braiding was introduced by K2 in 1988 and has withstood the test of time to rise to the top as the best torsion box construction process available. The patented and proprietary technology wraps an interlocking fiberglass weave around the ski`s wood core at a 38 degree angle to provide a strong, lightweight ski with optimum torsional stiffness. The end result is a ski with greater sensitivity and better turn response with less effort.
