HyVent
Designed as an innovative option for complete weather protection, HyVent is a waterproof/breathable polyurethane-based membrane. While it is slightly less breathable than Gore-Tex laminates, it is extremely waterproof, and can be counted on as a dependable protective outer layer. The addition of an enhanced hydrophobic treatment enables the DWR to adhere to materials for an extremely extended lifetime. When water hits the fabric`s surface, DWR finishes act like water repels off a ducks back, leaving you dry in wet, rainy conditions.
Heatseeker Insulation
The North Face proprietary synthetic insulation offers a great warmth-to-weight ratio, is highly compressible, and is extremely durable, making it ideal for cold weather excursions that require warmth at minimal bulk.
