PrimaLoft Insulation
PrimaLoft One
PrimaLoft is a patented ultrafine mocrofiber blend that is incredibly soft, lightweight and water repellent. PrimaLoft synthetic insulation absorbs three times less water, is 15% warmer when dry, and is 24% warmer when wet than the closest competitive insulation. In addition to these impressive thermal properties, PrimaLoft is lightweight with a down like softness that adds comfort and appeal.
PrimaLoft Eco
PrimaLoft Eco uses fibers made from a minimum 50 percent recycled materials in combination with standard PrimaLoft fibers to create a high loft, performance insulation.
PrimaLoft Eco is warm, lightweight, and water resistant, with superior softness. PrimaLoft Eco fibers are produced from postconsumer products (e.g., plastic bottles) and post-industrial waste. At the same time, they are still subject to the rigorous test standards and specifications befitting the exceptional traditional of PrimaLoft.
Recco Reflectors
The RECCO avalanch rescue system is an electonic system, making it possible to quickly locate an acalanche victim. This system does not require battries for operation and consists of two parts: a reflector that is integrated into the garment, and search equipment that is owned and operated by the rescue team at various ski resorts.
HyVent
Designed as an innovative option for complete weather protection, HyVent is a waterproof/breathable polyurethane-based membrane. While it is slightly less breathable than Gore-Tex laminates, it is extremely waterproof, and can be counted on as a dependable protective outer layer. This combination of high waterproofness and breathability makes it ideal for keeping the elements out. To increase the comfort and breathability level of the coating, they have developed precise custom lining options in both their 2 and 3-layer versions of the HyVent technology.
