The Men`s Sabretooth Parka is comfy, cozy and will keep you bundled up this winter. Its filled with high-loft 550 fill goose down which will ensure warmth in the coldest of temperatures. The outer fabric is two-layer Gore-Tex which is completely waterproof yet will allow trapped air moisture from body heat to escape, leaving you dry, warm and comfortable. A waist and hem cinchcord can seal off the Sabretooh to cold air drafts and the fully adjustable hood is great for when mother nature really opens up her power. This Parka has all the essentials to keep you satisfied this winter season, and then some!

Gore-Tex
Gore-Tex fabrics lead the industry in providing durably waterproof / breathable protection. The Gore-Tex membrane is completely impervious to rain, sleet and snow, while allowing perspiration to pass through it. A single square inch of the Gore-Tex membrane contains 9 billion microscopic pores - each pore is 20,000 times smaller than a raindrop but 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor - so while water can`t pass through the fabric, perspiration can. The North Face uses Gore-Tex fabric in many of its outerwear pieces, not only because of its waterproof / breathable capabilities, but because it is rigorously tested for durability. Abrasion and flexing tests are done in laboratory conditions that exceed even the most extreme weather environments. Original Gore-Tex fabric, available in 2-layer and 3-layer construction, is the technoogy that started it all. 2-layer is lighter weight and softer - ideal for use in sports apparel and streetwear. 3-layer is a heavier duty alternative - ideal for more demanding pursuits or climatic conditions, such as serious backpacking, climbing and mountaineering.
