Polartec Power Stretch
Polartec Power Stretch features body-hugging, four-way stretch and is very breathable and quick drying. It keeps the skin dry through three complementary mechanisms:
(1) The fabric is highly breathable and does not restrict the movement of moisture vapor.
(2) `Touch Points` on the fabric`s inner surface wick the moisture off the skin, drawing it toward the outside of the fabric, where it spreads rapidly for evaporation.
(3) When the moisture reaches the outside of the fabric, it spreads out to many times its original surface area, enabling it to dry extremely quickly.
Furthermore, the durable nylon outer layer of Polartec Power Stretch is wind- and abrasion resistant, further keeping the wearer dry, warm, and comfortable in difficult outdoor conditions.
Flat Lock Stitching
This type of stitching creates a seam that lies flat within the garment rather than hanging from it, eliminating discomfort associated with bulky seams.
