SALOMON The Dumont Skis (07)
Says pro rider Simon Dumont about his signature skis, `Graphics were huge for me. I really wanted something original and expressive. I worked with an amazing artist out of Whistler, Chili Thom, and I was able to get exactly what I was looking for. I love how the artwork on my ski blends together. As for the construction, I knew I was looking for a ski with a softer tip and tail and a different sidecut so I could mount my skis more forward than traditional center mounting. I couldn`t be more stoked with the end result!`
For riders who want the ski of the pros, Simon designed this ski from the ground up. He wanted a sweet slopestyle ski that he could ski in all conditions: a full wood core and Pulse Pad construction ensure all terrain performance and cushy landings from orbital airs.

Composite Monocoque Double Wall Construction
Monocoque is Salomon`s unique construction process using an external load-bearing structure which transfers power directly from the skier to the edge for greater performance. Composite Monocoque Double Wall construction provides powerful edge grip and acceleration during the turn with increased edge to edge response.
Spaceframe Technology
Spaceframe is the right amount of material in the right place. It began by utilizing three-dimensional shapes to add and remove materials to specific areas of the ski structure, adapting it for specific performance needs. Salomon has expanded upon this concept to include new materials and structures along with the 3D component, enabling to better adapt performance to specific needs.
Pulse Pad
Pulse pad is a Salomon Technology integrating a new material into ski construction designed to absorb vibration and maximize ski to snow contact. Placed directly over the edge during the construction process of the ski, it absorbs vibration for a smoother ride at speed better than normal construction, keeping ski to snow contact more consistent.
Wood Core
Wood is a direct transmisson, precision core material that Salomon adapts to demanding skiers who look for performance without concession. A wood core allows for a smooth ride, balance and stability at speed and excellent rebound characteristics.
