SOREL Mens Caribou Boot
The Caribou is the ultimate cold weather, waterproof boot. The Caribou uses the ThermoPlus felt InnerBoot. This liner incorporates performance features to keep your feet dry and warm. The Aerotrac outsole provides great stability in the nastiest of winter conditions. Sorel has rated this boot to be comfortable down to -40 degrees F, during active use. This is definitely a boot that meets all the demands associated with harsh winter conditions.

ThermoPlus
Pioneered by Sorel in 1993 after extensive field testing. The ThermoPlus InnerBoot provide superb warmth, moisture transfer, comfort, and durability. An advanced four-layer construction wicks perspiration from the foot, maximizes thermal insulation, and reflects body heat back to the foot for a warm, dry foot climate.
- Soft, short loop polyester Minktex (green inner layer) maximizes contact to quickly wick perspiration from the foot.
- Black polypropylene core insulates and facilitates wicking process.
- Radiantex foil reflects body heat back to the foot.
- Polyester/viscose blend (camel outer layer) insulates and stores moisture away from the foot.
History
The Sorel name has been associated with the development and distribution of durable, cold-weather footwear for nearly 40 years. When first introduced, the unique boots with the rubber bottoms, leather tops and warm felt sock liners met the market with phenomenal success.
Originally owned by William H. Kaufman, Inc., the Sorel trademark rights and associated brand names were purchased by Columbia Sportswear Company in September 2000.
