A great all around backpacking bag, the Women`s Piute is built with tuck-stitched baffling and a comfortably roomy, mummy cut. Extra insulation in the torso and footbox accommodates a woman`s thermal needs. 600-fill down insulation and face gasket work together to seal in warmth.

FACE GASKET
When it`s cold enough to cinch down the hood opening, these down-filled tubes create a comfortable seal, keeping warm air in and cold air out.

COMFORT FOOTBOX
Formerly found only on our Expedition bags, this complex footbox is shaped to allow feet to rest naturally, angled out slightly with toes pointed. The shape helps preserve loft and allows the down to drape closer to the feet, increasing warmth. Multiple baffles keep the down evenly distributed around the footbox.

TUCK STITCHED BAFFLES
All our down bags (including the linings of our welded Expedition models) are sewn using this complicated and time consuming technique, which keeps all the threads hidden, making a more durable bag. Most down bags have thier baffles top-stitched to the shell and lining, exposing the threads to snag and wear.
