Columbia`s Kanapali trail sandal is the perrfect blend of durable, heavy-duty EVA with Vibram sole and lightweight suede leather fastening. Stands for `Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate.` A chemical blend of polymers that form a cellular foam used in footbeds, midsoles, and outsoles. Provides lightweight, flexible, cushioning that is highly impact resistant. Also acts an an insulation barrier in cold weather products.

XTS -
Cross-Terrain Suspention is Columbia`s new footwear technology using an injected, molded TPU plate sandwiched between the midsole and the outsole. Provides forefoot protection from sharp objects such as rock or exposed roots on the trail. Torsional rigidity to control the foot strike while moving over unexpected uneven surfaces. Stability in the heel area for full-foot support when traveling fast and furious over rough terrain.

VIBRAM -
Vibramreg; rubber compounds are made from a special rubber blend that guarantees maximum traction on various surfaces and terrain. The wear resistance values maintain the integrity of the technical features during the life of the sole.
