COLUMBIA Mens Razor Ridge Low II

Thus, the Razor Ridge Low II hiking boot is designed for entry level hikers that want to hike, trails and other various outdoor pursuits. A quality shoe that`s built to last with a lower cut than most other hiking boots; features the standard set off features one can expect from a hiker with a few of the extra that make it a true hiking boot, such as gusseted tongue, EVA and nylon shank midsole and Omni-Grip hiking design.

GUSSETED TONGUE -
A design feature where the tongue is attached to the bottom and both sides of the eyestay. This prevents debris from entering the shoe and keeping the tongure secured in place.
OMNI-GRIP -HIKING
Non-Marking. Firm-to-medium compound - maximum combination of traction and durability for rough to varied terrain. Similar to trail, with increased abraision-resistance for longer wear.
EVA -
Stands for `Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate.` A chemical blend of polymers that form a cellular foam used in footbeds, midsoles, and outsoles. Provides lightweight, flexible, cushioning that is highly impact resistant. Also acts an an insulation barrier in cold weather products.
