Active particles work with your body to keep you dry by actively moving moisture and accelerating evaporation. Comfort in clothing is greatly influenced by the temperature and humidity next to skin known as the microclimate. For the average person, the body strives to maintain an ideal core body temperature of 37.5° C. You are most comfortable when the microclimate next to your skin has a relative humidity close to 37.5%. When you are in this ideal 37.5 comfort zone, you are also in your ideal performance zone. 37.5 technology helps your body manage the moisture in your microclimate to keep you in this "37.5 zone" of comfort and performance.
Freedom of movement and total confidence in your gear means that when that shot-of- a-lifetime finally presents itself, you will succeed. That was the inspiration behind the new Shooter's Cut design and construction. Shoulders and arms are sewn in a way that allows for maximum articulation without any binding to ensure that when drawing your bow, looking through your scope or down the barrel of your shotgun, it is a smooth and uninhibited motion. Look for the Shooter's Cut icon in outerwear, base and mid layers and know that these products are designed for the maximum freedom of movement while still maintaining the performance and comfort you've grown to love.
The jacket is lightweight and fits true to size. I thought the material would be noisy out in the field, but it performed great and kept me dry when it rained. I wouldn’t recommend wearing it in dry weather because it makes noise when I move.
I purchased a small (my normal size) and then returned for a medium. I am 5’1’’ 135 with an athletic body and muscular rear and this was too tight in a small. Also small was too tight to layer even a thin base. Will be using for WY Elk hunt September ‘19. Wish it was a little quieter but still seems better than most rain gear especially for women (there’s hardly any options). Also wish the inside lining was a little softer.
