The legendary Men's Free Rydr™ Pant is now available with a narrower silhouette and is cut from
exclusive combed Cotton Euro Twill for tenacious, yet luxurious, style. The fabric has been slightly brushed for a softer feel, but tough durability remains. The tapered fit tapers from the knee down for a more modern fit. Kuhl's Born Free™ gusseted crotch and articulated knees allow freedom of movement, while the anatomically engineered fit follows your body's natural contours for superior comfort. Reinforced pockets and bottom cuffs reduce wear. Kuhl's signature cell phone pocket keeps your phone out of the way and easy to retrieve. River wash treatment creates a weathered, "lived-in" look.

Combed cotton is an extremely soft version of cotton made by specially treating the cotton fibers before they are spun into yarn. As a general rule, combed cotton is slightly more expensive than conventional cotton. The extremely soft, strong material is the result of carding cotton, removing 15% of the volume and comprises only the aligned straight fibers of cotton slivers made into thread.
River washed is a cold water garment wash lasting 30 minutes which reveals the vintage dye effects of the fabric. Then the fabric is sent to dryers set at a high temperature to take out / eliminate any remaining shrinkage in the fabric. This insures our river washed products fit you years later the same as the first time you wore them.
Vintage Patina Dye
Originally developed in Italy, this high quality double dye process will naturally fade with age, exposure and wash. These experiences create authentic character and a weathered appearance that echoes your own. Follow care instructions: For best results launder with garment inside out in cold water and use mild detergent.
The art of joining things in such a way that motion is possible. Where the knee bends, the elbow crooks, and the shoulders join the trunk and arms, articulated construction builds movement into the design. This includes gusseted panels (shoulders) and darts -on knees and elbows, darts gather the fabric to articulate those body parts' natural range of motion.
A fabric panel insert for added strength or expansion. Commonly used at seams. Kuhl uses gussets placed at the crotch, shoulders, and underarms. Garments with these features deliver better range of motion. Legs extend further; arms raise and reach without being impeded or pulling on the garment.
Stealth Cell Phone Pocket
A stealth pocket lies behind the pant leg. Only two closely-met seams reveal the opening. Keep your smart phone in place without adding the silhouette of a pocket to the pant leg with this feature.
