SCOTT composite poles undergo an automated filament winding process, whereby the shafts are machine-spun, producing an extremely consistent product. Filament winding allows high-fiber volumetric fraction and the use of continuous fibers, which leads to high strength and reliable poles. Glass fibers allow for a high amount of flexibility and durability, while carbon fibers, with their unique strangth to weight ratio, lead to high strength, powerful and light poles.
SRS (Strap Release System)
The SCOTT S.R.S (Strap Release System) is the next generation of safety technology in ski poles. The S.R.S system allows the strap to release from the grip of the pole in the sketchy situations to prevent injury.
SRS FX15x25 Strap
The FX 15x25 straps feature an increased strap width on the back of the hand for additional support. The injection-molded nylon buckle exceeds a tensile strength of 800 psi.
Notch Strike Grip
The Notch Strike grip has been ergonomically engineered using soft thermoplastic rubber and polypropylene. The lightweight, streamlined profile facilitates necessary wrist articulation.
