Cut from the same fabric as the Sitka Gear adult 90% series, the Youth Scrambler is a soft shell jacket offering moderate insulation and maximum breathability for budding big game and whitetail hunters. The moisture-wicking microfleece liner makes it ideal for periods of rest in cooler temperatures, or constant movement in the cold.Read more
As your cub's draw length grows, the Scrambler keeps up with accordioned sleeves that can be extended, in 2-inch increments, by a full 6 inches. Built from a 2-way stretch polyester weave, this jacket is quiet, snag-resistant, and highly durable for slipping through brush and scrub. Articulated patterning give a full range of motion and the proper fit. Hand pockets and a functional chest pocket help whatever necessities you hand over make it back to the truck.
A tightly woven outer layer and brushed microfleece interior allow a soft shell to repel most weather while remaining highly breathable to help you manage temperature and moisture levels efficiently while performing aerobic activities.
Optifade camouflage from GORE is the first and only concealment system ever scientifically designed around the way a hunter's prey views the world. It's the only concealment system to combine a symmetry disrupting macro pattern with the fractal geometry based micro pattern designed to become nothing in the eyes of prey at engagement ranges of 20 meters and beyond.
In general, washing your gear in cold or warm water with mild non-deoderant powder laundry soap (non-toxic, biodegradable types preferred) and hand drying it are the best ways to clean Sitka products.
Freeze it and then pick it off with a dull object. Rub the remainder out with a water and white vinegar solution and then wash with detergent.
Like most synthetics, Sika Gear will melt or burn when exposed to flames or direct heat. Use caution when around fires, stoves and hot metal surfaces!
