Volkl's Confession Jr. features Full Rocker and a wood core construction, a benchmark ride for young skiers who want to ski big mountain, powder conditions.Read more
Originally called Extended Low Profile, Full Rocker gives the skier all the benefits of added maneuverability in soft snow while also delivering smooth, graceful arcs on groomed terrain. As soon as the ski is on edge, the skier gains uninterrupted edge contact. The more the ski is on edge, the more effective the edge becomes. The resulting smoothness and predictability is truly uncanny.
A multi-layer wood core that features two different densities of wood. In the binding attachment area, a dense ash core is used, while in the rest of the ski, the core is poplar. The more dense wood creates more secure screw retention, preventing binding pull-out, and the soft, supple poplar section allows for resilience and snap. The flex pattern is tailored to each ski model, depending on the desired performance.
Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.
A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.
